Michelle Venturella To Offer Fall Softball Clinics|

CHICAGO –Michelle Venturella, Inc. along with Eileen Canney Linnehan and Becky Marx Keogh will be offering clinics during the fall season, beginning on Sept. 3. There will be a 10-week catching and hitting clinic, both running on Tuesday’s from Sept. 3-Nov. 5. Venturella’s catching clinic is for ages 8-18. The clinic begins Tuesday, Sept. 3 and continues through Tuesday, Nov. 5. Each session is from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., at Flames Field on the campus, unless there is inclement weather then the clinic will be held inside the Physical Education Building.
The format of the camp focuses on key elements of catching during each week, such as blocking, throwing, tag plays, pop-ups and many other areas.
The size of the class each week is on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are 12 spots available, and attendees are able to sign up for as many weeks as she desires ahead of time, or sign up weekly. Once the session fills up, it will be closed. Attendees need to bring cleats, gym shoes, a full set of catching gear and a glove.
Marx Keogh’s hitting camp will also be on Tuesday’s for 10 weeks (Sept. 3-Nov. 5). There will be two sessions each week, the first from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and the other from 8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., inside the hitting cages in the Physical Education Building.
Each session is limited to 10 participants, and like the catching clinic attendees are able to sign up for as many weeks as she desires ahead of time, or sign up weekly. Once the session fills up, it will be closed.
