Softball Reveals Fall Schedule And Alumni Event

CHICAGO - UIC head softball coach Michelle Venturella released the Flames' fall schedule, which will open up with a team scrimmage in conjunction with the squad's alumni event on Sept. 8 at Flames Field.
The UIC scrimmage begins at 1:00 p.m. (CT) and is followed by the fifth annual alumni scrimmage at 4:00 p.m. There will be food and beverages from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., and attendees are asked to RSVP to mventure@uic.edu by Sept. 5.
The team then plays host to back-to-back home events. On Sept. 15, UIC faces Heartland Community College in a doubleheader that starts at Noon. Following the twin bill, the Flames face Northern Illinois at 4:30 p.m.
On Sept. 22, UIC welcomes Northwestern for a doubleheader that begins at 11:00 a.m., before closing out the fall slate with a two-day trip to Bloomington, Ill., on Sept. 29-30.
