CHICAGO - Registration for the UIC Softball hitting and catching clinics for the fall is now open for girls age 8-18.

Flames' assistant coach Brooke Monroe will lead instruction beginning September 7 with 45 minute sessions on Tuesday nights at the UIC Softball indoor hitting facility. Athletes will take part in specialized drills to enhance the fundamentals of their swing.

Participants have the option of signing up on a per-week basis or for the entirety of the fall session.

Head coach Michelle Venturella's catching clinic will be in an eight week format, with each session covering a different set of drills and component of the position.
