    CHICAGO -Head softball coach Michelle Venturella is set to offer an eight-week catching clinic for ages 8-18 that begins September 4 and continues each Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. through October 23 inside the Physical Education Building.

    The format of the camp focuses on key elements of catching during each week, such as stances, tag plays, pick-offs and many other areas.

    The size of the class each week is on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are 15 spots available, and attendees are able to sign up for as many weeks as she desires ahead of time, or sign up weekly. Once the session fills up, it will be closed.

    Attendees need to bring gym shoes, a full set of catching gear and a glove.
