    Chicago, Ill. - Steady rain in the Chicagoland area has delayed the start of second-day action at the 2004 Horizon League Softball Championship at Flames Field.

    The scheduled 9:00 a.m. contest between top-seeded UIC and #5 Butler has been pushed back to later this afternoon with the rest of the day's schedule to follow as time permits.

    Updates will be made should any further delays occur.
