PENDLETON, Ind. - The UIC softball team is set and ready for a Mother's Day matchup against Cleveland State for the 2009 Horizon League Tournament title this Sunday morning, as the two sides will kick things off shortly.

After falling to the Vikings (34-16) on Friday night in the semifinal matchup, 8-5, the Flames (27-25) eliminated Wright State, 9-5 in the consolation semifinals before defeating CSU, 8-4 in a well-rounded performance by UIC to force this morning's winner-take-all game.

Senior Sarah Clynes will start off in the circle for the Flames, looking to extend her season beyond this weekend and to her first NCAA Regional appearance.
