CHICAGO – Due to inclement weather, the UIC softball team has been forced to make two alterations to its schedule.

The Flames were set to travel to Indianapolis Tuesday to face IUPUI at 4:00 p.m. (CT), but due to weather that game has been canceled. UIC will now face Northern Illinois Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in DeKalb, Ill. The two teams were originally set to play April 17, but was postponed because of rain.

Following the mid-week non-conference game against Northern Illinois, UIC will play host to Youngstown State. The three-game series will commence at Noon (CT) with a doubleheader that is also a breast cancer awareness day as the team continues to raise funds for its FLAMEingo Drive. They are currently $890 short of their $2,500 online donation goal. To donate to the cause click HERE.
