Softball Family And Friends Gather In Vegas

CHICAGO - After a riveting 6-3 victory over Indiana, the UIC softball team celebrated with family and friends of the program while in Las Vegas at the Desert Classic Tournament last weekend. All in all, over 50 Flames supporters came to support the team in a post-game dinner and social hour. "It was great having the encouragement and energy of so many friends and family all weekend long." said head coach Michelle Venturella. After an idle weekend, the UIC softball team returns to action on March 6 and 7 at the Coach B Classic, hosted by Southern Illinois in Carbondale.
