Chicago, Ill.. - The UIC softball team fell to No. 23 DePaul, 5-0, on a rainy afternoon at Cacciatore Stadium in Lincoln Park.

Blue Demon pitcher Becca Heteniak (21-6) tossed a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts.

UIC pitcher Carly DeMarco falls to 3-5 in the circle. The freshman totaled one strikeout in two innings of work. Whitney Orellana replaced DeMarco in the bottom of the third inning.

DePaul took an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on three-run home run to centerfield from Sandy Vojik.

Vojik tacked on a run in the bottom of the third inning on a solo shot to right field.

With runners on first and third in the fourth, Amber Patton stole second and Vojik stole home to give the Blue Demons a 5-0 advantage.

The Flames head to Detroit for a three-game series this weekend in Michigan.
