The Flames served as the home team in the contest against Jacksonville Saturday. The Dolphins began the game by scoring one run in the first inning and four runs in the second inning to jump out to an early 5-0 lead over UIC.

Jacksonville went on to score one more run in the fourth inning, which would be the final run either team would score in the game as the Dolphins ran away with a 6-0 victory.

Among the five, Coryn Schmit (Hawthorn Hills, Ill./Lake Zurich), Jacki Fletcher (Lowell, Ind./Lowell), Ashley Hewett (La Palma, Calif., John F. Four Flames members, Melinda Macias (Chino, Calif./Don Antonio Lugo), Schmit, Fletcher and Komp (Joliet, Ill./Joliet West) logged hits in the contest with UCF.

UIC had opportunities with runners in scoring position on eight different occasions during the game, but were unable score.
