2006 Notes: Appeared in 44 games after recovering from shoulder surgery early in the season as a catcher and the designated player role...batted a career-high .302...raised batting average to .324 in Horizon League contests...went 2-for-3 with one run scored against then #14 Washington on Feb. 11...batted .750 versus Temple on March 9 with two runs and one RBI...batted .411 in the Horizon League Tournament with six RBI...went 3-for-4 with a season-high four RBI and two doubles in a 7-0 victory over Butler in UIC's opening game in the tournament...improved batting average to .324 in conference games...posted a 1.000 fielding average in overall and league games...owned eight multi-hit contests.
