UIC head softball coach Michelle Venturella revealed the Flames' fall schedule on Tuesday. UIC will compete in four tournaments, three of which are set to be held at Flames Field, beginning Sept. 13.
UIC softball's Jacki Fletcher capped off her career by being named to the Capital One Academic All-America First Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced in late May. Fletcher holds place as one of four infielders on the roster and was selected out of 93 Division I All-District finalists.

Former UIC softball player Courtney Heeley was recently chosen to be a part of USA Team Handball following the Women's Residency Program tryouts at Auburn University's Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum in Auburn, Ala. Heeley was selected among 14 athletes in attendance and is the only known former UIC student-athlete to compete with USA Team Handball.
