Open Letter From UIC Women's Soccer Head Coach Brian Rigby|
July 25, 2014
Dear Soccer Fans and UIC Supporters,
In just 12 days all members of the UIC women’s soccer team will arrive together on campus for the first time and begin training for the inaugural season. Our roster is comprised of 25 remarkable student-athletes who have all bought in to the idea of setting the foundation for a first-year program.
I encourage all soccer enthusiasts and UIC supporters to come witness this historic season unfold. Our 20-game schedule features 11 matches at Flames Field, which is located at 901 W. Roosevelt in the heart of UIC’s south campus.
Home competition begins on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 7:30 p.m. CT, with an exhibition match against IPFW. The following Sunday on Aug. 24, UIC women’s soccer will host its very first regular season contest versus Big Ten-member Iowa at 1:00 p.m.
Single game and season tickets are now on sale through the UIC Ticket Office (312-413-8421) or by clicking here. Fans looking for the best value are directed to the UIC All-Sport Pass, which provides admission into all home events.
Thank you in advance for your support of UIC women’s soccer and Flames Athletics. We look forward to seeing you out at Flames Field this fall.
