Horizon League Adds Strength, Depth with Addition of UIC|
Jan. 28, 2013
CHICAGO - With the addition of UIC Women's Soccer to the Horizon League, the Flames join a conference that originated in 1991 with only four teams, none of which remain in the League today.
The Horizon League Women's Soccer program has grown since, adding and losing various universities as the years passed. Today, there are nine teams in the League, including the addition of UIC.
With the addition of UIC, the Flames will face off against Milwaukee, Detroit, Wright State, Valparaiso, Loyola, Green Bay, Cleveland State, and Youngstown State in the 2013 season.
The interactive home for Horizon League women's soccer is the Horizon League Network. The HLN has long been a pioneer in online streaming of live events. In its first six years, HLN has carried more than 2,500 live events with TV-quality production, attracting viewership from more than 140 countries.
The HLN is available on mobile devices, both on an Android phone or other Apple devices (iPhone, iPad).
