Chicago, Ill.- The UIC women's gymnastics team recently celebrated their fantastic 2006 season at the annual UIC Women's Gymnastics End-of-the-Year Awards Banquet.

Various academic and team honors were handed out, and all four classes were honored, including the outgoing senior class of Holly Bruhn, Regine Charron and Veronique Meunier.

The Flames qualified for the NCAA South Central Regionals in 2006, marking the sixth time in eight years that UIC has qualified for the regional meet.
