Women's Gymnastics Signs Holly Bruhn To National Letter Of Intent April 22, 2002 Chicago, Ill. - The 2002 season will be a tough act to follow for next year's University of Illinois at Chicago women's gymnastics team. After advancing to the NCAA South Central Regional and shattering the school scoring record this season, co-head coaches Peter and Mary Jansson continued UIC's reloading process by announcing the singing of Holly Bruhn of Oak Creek, Wisconsin to a National Letter of Intent. Bruhn, a senior at Oak Creek High and a member of the Midwest Twisters gymnastics club, joins Regine Charron and Veronique Meunier as members of the 2003 recruiting class who will look to soften the blow of losing six exceptional seniors from this year's squad.
"Holly is an explosive and very powerful gymnast who will help us on floor, vault and bars," said Peter Jansson. "We are very excited that she will be joining us here at UIC."
