Chicago, Ill.- The UIC women's gymnastics team embarks on its eighth trip to NCAA Regional competition when the Flames head to Tucson, Arizona for the 2007 NCAA South Central Regional Championship.

UIC will take to the gym along with Stanford, Arizona State, Oregon State, Illinois and host Arizona at the McKale Center this Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. PDT.

The top two teams and the top two individual event finishers that are not on an advancing team will qualify for the NCAA National Championships.

This is the second consecutive regional berth for the Flames, who went 13-11 overall in dual meets in 2007 en route to the Midwest Independent Conference Championship.
