Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's gymnastics team will be well represented at the 2008 South Central Regional meet at the University of Oklahoma on April 12.

Annie Kachman earned an all-around berth while Sarah Murray will compete of the floor exercise and DeAvera Todd on the vault.

Despite winning the Midwest Independent Conference championship, the Flames just missed out on a team bid by four spots. UIC needed an additional .595 to have qualified for the final 36th spot.

The NCAA South Regional will be held on Saturday, April 12 at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla. at 6 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the Oklahoma Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-456-GoOU. Live scoring will also be available at SoonerSports.com.
