Chicago, Ill. - Kim Ball led the way as the UIC women's gymnastics shattered its school record on the balance beam en route to a 193.375-190.125 victory against Southeast Missouri State Friday night at the Physical Education Building. Ball won three of the meet's four events and tied the UIC school record on the beam with a 9.925 to help the Flames break the record.

In addition to her victory on the balance beam, Ball also took first on the floor exercise and on the bars, where she recorded scores of 9.750 and 9.825, respectively.

Senior Gabriella Brunn took also earned a first place finish for the Flames, winning the vault with a 9.850 to give UIC a clean sweep of all four events.
