Chicago, Ill.- UIC sophomore Annie Kachman (St. Charles, Mo./St. Charles H.S.) was named the Midwest Independent Conference Gymnast of the Week for the period ending February 21st.

Kachman won the all-around against TWU, Illinois State and Boise State this weekend with a top tally of 38.750, giving her two all-around wins in the last three weeks. Her all-around score was spurred by a second-place floor exercise that garnered a 9.8.

This is Kachman's third award as MIC Gymnast of the Week this season.
