On the Flames' performance at the meet:
"It was a lot of heart, a lot of heart. We made some mistakes and everybody really put some pressure on themselves to do really well, and the seniors wanted to go out on the best meet of their lives.

"Sometimes in the big arena it doesn't go exactly the way you wrote it, but the season that we had is the main thing that we take out of this, and the achievements of reaching this point even if today we didn't perform at our absolute best."

On the seniors and the future:
"[The seniors] really have consistently been putting things out there. You have kids who have been in on several different events. Jess Panos over the years. Rachael Zelinski has been a mainstay on floor and beam and really got to shine on floor in her last performance today. Jessie's growth as a gymnast, from a one-event specialist her freshman year to two events to three events to a really, really good all-arounder her senior year, it's just amazing.

"The kind of teams that we've been able to have around with these seniors, both as leaders and as beginners, as freshmen, making it to NCAAs year after year and putting those kinds of performances together, I think it is this senior class that we're going to remember for their accomplishments in that area.

"At the same time this holds a lot of promise for us. Our big sophomore class and the freshmen we have today, and we have a great freshman class coming in, the next couple of years should be extremely exciting for what we have in stock."
