O'Neil's All-Around Keys Women's Gymnastics To Win Over Illinois State|

Normal, Ill.- Led by senior Jennifer O'Neil's three victories, including a season-best 39.025 to win the all-around, the University of Illinois at Chicago women's gymnastics team downed Midwest Independent rival Illinois State, 194.225-190.900, at Horton Fieldhouse in a rare Wednesday night meet.
O'Neil led a balanced UIC attack that saw Flames gymnasts sweep the top three spots of three event rankings. The Hull, Quebec native won the uneven bars with a season-high 9.9 and took the floor exercise with a 2005-best 9.850 en route to the all-around win.
Finishing just behind O'Neil on bars was senior Alyson Cacciatore with a 9.8, followed by the senior Jaworowicz with a 9.725.
Jessie Jaworowicz and Rachel Zelinski shared the beam title with identical 9.875 tallies. The score marked a season-high for the younger Jaworowicz while tying Zelinski's career best.
Meunier tied for second on the floor with a 9.75, sharing the ranking with ISU's Tove Fjordholm.
The Flames (9-6) have now won six of their seven true dual meets.
UIC has beaten Illinois State all three times they have met this season, with three more meetings on the slate.
The Flames finish up their three-meet road trip with a venture to East Lansing, Michigan to face host Michigan State along with Illinois State this Saturday at 2 p.m.
