Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's gymnastics team took the top-six places on floor and the top-five places on bars, as the Flames defeated Illinois State, 194.1-192.7, at the UIC Physical Education Building on Sunday afternoon.

Alyson Cacciatore led the charge for the home team, winning the all-around with a score of 39.05. The sophomore from Glenview tied for the win on floor scoring a 9.9, tied teammate Holly Bruhn for the win on bars (9.9) and finished second on beam (9.75).

Veronique Meunier added a victory for the Flames on vault with a score of 9.75. Bruhn was second on vault with a 9.725 to close out a nice day.

Jackie Jaworowicz equaled Cacciatore on floor at 9.9 to tie for the victory.

UIC will be back in action on Saturday, March 15, when the Flames host Northern Illinois for a 2:00 p.m. match-up at the UIC Physical Education Building.
