Shreveport, La.- Senior Jessie Jaworowicz's first career all-around title helped the UIC women's gymnastics team get past Midwest Independent rival Centenary at the Gold Dome on Friday evening.

The Flames posted a 192.125 for the win, edging the Ladies and their score of 192.050.

Jaworowicz earned an all-around tally of 38.55 to edge out teammate Annie Kachman (38.525) for the win. Jaworowicz also led the team on beam with a 9.65.

Kachman tied for first on vault with a 9.725.

Ashley Thurston was UIC's leading bars performer after earning a 9.8, while Kachman and Rachael Zelinski posted the same score on floor exercise to lead the Flames.

UIC wraps up its weekend in Shreveport with a rematch against Centenary on Sunday.
