Chicago, Ill. - The balance beam once again shook the UIC women's gymnastics team on Sunday allowing #20 Iowa to knock off the Flames, 194.725-193.25 at the UIC Physical Education Building.

The beam was lethal to UIC's chances, as Iowa outscored the Flames 48.55-46.675. The Hawkeyes took the top-five places led by Alexis Maday's 9.775.

Newcomer Jackie Jaworowicz and veteran Atlin Mitchell tied for the floor title with scores of 9.875.
