Denton, Texas- Sophomore Annie Kachman's all-around victory and freshman Justine Weyer's bars win highlighted the UIC women's gymnastics team's showing against Texas Women's University, Boise State and Illinois State at Magee Arena.

Kachman won the all-around with a 38.750. The second-year standout's overall score was spurred by a second-place floor exercise tally of 9.8.

Weyer continued her exceptional rookie campaign with a bars score of 9.775. The freshman was UIC's leading finisher on vault (5th/9.7) and beam (9th/9.75) as well.

Jessie Jaworowicz tied for fifth on vault with Weyer and finished with a fifth-place 38.025 in the all-around.

The Flames placed fourth at the meet with an overall score of 189.4. Boise State won the meet with a 193.975, while Illinois State (192.425) and the host Pioneers (192.100) placed second and third, respectively.

UIC returns home to host Illinois State at the UIC Physical Education Building this Sunday, February 25th. Sunday's meet is Senior Celebration Day.
