Champaign, Ill. - The UIC women's gymnastics team was able to handle Illinois in Champaign on Saturday, but the Minnesota Golden Gophers were the team to beat.

Minnesota won the three-team competition with a score of 195.95, followed by UIC at 193.975 and the Fighting Illini (192.525).

The Flames were led by Alyson Cacciatore's second-place finish on bars (9.875) and Jackie Jaworowicz's runner-up tally on beam (9.85)

Stacey Magiera added a third-place finish on beam with a score of 9.825.

The Flames are back at it on Sunday as they visit Illinois State.
