Cape Girardeau, Mo. - Any road win is a good win, and the 21st-ranked UIC women's gymnastics team picked up a solid win away from the West Side, beating Midwest Independent Conference rival Southeast Missouri State, 193.375-192.450, in Missouri on Saturday afternoon.

Jennifer O'Neil paced the Flames winning the all-around competition with a score of 38.475.

Alyson Cacciatore was impressive for the second-straight week, tying for a win on vault with a score of 9.75 and taking the bars title outright at 9.9.

Megan Fey and O'Neil eqauled Cacciatore on vault with marks of 9.75.

Jackie Jaworowicz continued her solid campaign, tying for the win on beam with a score of 9.825. The sophomore from Rockford added a second-place tally on floor with a score of 9.825 to tie O'Neil as runners-up.

The Flames vault back into action on Friday, February 7, when they visit the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington at 7:00 p.m.
