1999: Earned all-conference honors following her third-place finish on the uneven bars (9.750) at the Midwest Independent Conference Championships…also added a 9.650 on the vault at the meet…tied for first on the uneven bars with a career-high 9.825 at home vs. Ball State…she also placed third on the vault with a season-high tying 9.750 against the Cardinals…set the 9.750 vault mark at Southeast Missouri State, tying for third place…tied for third on the uneven bars vs. Western Michigan with a 9.800.
1998: Battled back from off-season shoulder surgery to have a successful 1998 season…Tied a career high score of 9.800 on the uneven bars at the Midwest Independent Championships, finishing second…earned a spot on the uneven bars All-Conference team…took second twice at home versus S.E. Missouri State, with a 9.575 on the uneven bars, and a 9.725 on the floor exercise…grabbed third place in all-around competition with a 37.500 at Illinois State…tied for second on the bars at Northern Illinois with a 9.750…vaulted to a 9.700 and a third place finish at Western Michigan…took a share of fourth on the bars, at Illinois, tying her career high of 9.800.
1997: As a rookie, scored a career-high and set a school record on the vault with a 9.85 against Louisiana State on March 7…also tallied personal bests of 9.80 on the uneven bars and 9.825 on the floor exercise in that same meet…tied for first with teammate Gabriella Brunn on the vault with a 9.70 and was UIC's top all-around finisher with a score of 38.225 against Michigan State on Feb. 22…in a dual meet with Illinois State, tied for first on the balance beam with a 9.75 and contributed a 9.775 to the Flames' school record on the vault…took second place at the Illinois Classic with a 9.80 on the floor.
Personal/Prep: As a club gymnastics competitor, she earned a third-place finish at the USGF state competition in the all-around in 1996…advanced to regionals in every one of her four campaigns…pursuing a degree in Kinesiology…born August 24, 1978…daughter of Jerome and Marie Rhoden.
