    2014 QUICK FACTS

CHICAGO – The UIC women’s golf team kicks off the spring season March 10-12 at the Seminole State Spring Break Invitational and the 2014 Quick Facts are now available on UICFlames.com.

Coming off of the most successful fall season in program history, the Flames tout six returning players in the spring. Returnees include juniors Elizabeth Curtiss, Ryann Gilley, Cherise Mangal and Kayla Stueland, sophomore Caitlan Smollen and freshman Shannon Menard.

“I look forward to junior Kayla Stueland returning to the lineup following elbow surgery this fall,” said UIC head coach Carol Rhoades. “Kayla has been a top performer in our program from its inception and her return to competitive form will greatly influence our opportunity to improve our Horizon League standings.”

The Flames continue to participate in individual practice and workouts leading up to team practices at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in early March.
