    Garrett Chaussard Joins Women's Golf as Volunteer Assistant Coach


    UIC head women's golf coach Carol Rhoades recently announced that Garrett Chaussard has joined the program as a Volunteer Assistant Coach. Chaussard is a PGA Class A Instructor at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club, the competition home of the UIC Flames. UIC opens the 2014 Fall season at Cog Hill with the Chi-Town Classic on Sept. 1.

    Women's Golf 2014 Fall Quick Facts Now Available


    The UIC women's golf team kicks off the fall season on Labor Day at the Chi-Town Classic and the 2014 Fall Quick Facts are now available on The Chi-Town Classic is scheduled for Sept. 1 and will be held at Cog Hill Country Club in Lemont.

    Top Flames Moment: Mangal's 76 Highlights Round Two of Horizon...


    Junior Cherise Mangal fired a 76 during the second round of the 2014 Horizon League Championship. UIC finished the weekend in sixth with a three-round total of 985, four shots in front of Green Bay. The Flames' finish and their 54- hole total (985) are the best at the conference championship in program history.

    UIC Women's Golf Releases 2014 Fall Schedule


    The UIC women's golf team released its 2014 fall schedule Monday morning. The Flames have a packed schedule, with six tournaments and a home match slated for the 2014 fall season. The 2014-15 season serves as the fourth year for UIC women's golf as the program began competition in the fall of 2011.

    Top Flames Moment: Caitlan Smollen Wins Individual Title at Green...


    UIC faced off against Green Bay and shot 323 as a team, six strokes behind the Phoenix (317). Sophomore Caitlan Smollen took home the individual crown by carding a career-low 76. She bested Green Bay's Katie Pokrandt (77) by one stroke to collect the first individual victory in program history.

    Rhoades Announces Fourth Member of 2014 Recruiting Class


    Third-year UIC head women's golf coach Carol Rhoades announced Friday (May 30) that Julia Kim, a high school senior from Aurora, Colo., will join the Flames next season. Kim was a three-time 5A state qualifier at Rangeview High School and won the East Metro Athletic Conference (EMAC) individual championship title as a senior.
