UIC Meets Western Michigan On Saturday Afternoon

Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's basketball team faces Western Michigan in its third straight road game on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 3:30 p.m. CST. The Flames head into the matchup 3-4 overall, while the Broncos own a 2-6 mark.
Despite dropping Western Michigan in their season opener last season (87-83), the Broncos lead the series, 4-2.
UIC is looking to pick up its first road victory of the season. Ranking sixth in the Horizon League in scoring, sophomore Jessie Miller paces the Flames on offense with 14.1 points per game. Junior Nikki Grobbecker owns second place in the conference with 8.3 rebounds per game.
Western Michigan junior Tiera DeLahoussaye guides the team on the both ends of the floor with 10.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Sophomore Molly Dwyer owns a team-high 10 treys, while freshman Ebony Cleary has totaled six blocks on the season.
UIC heads to Cancun, Mexico for the Caribbean Challenge on Dec. 18-19 to battle LSU and Southern Miss in the two-day event.
