UIC Women's Basketball Game Notes Get Acrobat Reader

Chicago, Ill. - Not only is the UIC women's basketball team looking for its second straight victory on Tuesday night, but head coach Lisa Ryckbosch would become UIC's all-time winningest coach with a win over Canusius.

Meeting for the first time in school history, Canisius and the Flames will square off at 7 p.m. CST at the UIC Pavilion.

The Flames are coming off a 72-61 win over Bradley in their season opener on Saturday, Nov. 22.

Jessie Miller, Jasmine Bailey and Briana Hinkle guided UIC to victory with three solid performances.

Miller shot 64.3 percent from the field, totaling a game-high 24 points against Bradley. Hinkle chipped in 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. Bailey recorded her first collegiate double-double with 11 points and a team-high 12 boards.

Canisius enters the contest with a 1-2 overall mark. The Golden Griffins fell to Wisconsin in Madison, 69-54, on Sunday night.

Micayla Drysdale led the Griffs with 19 points. The guard was 7-for-9 from the field and 5-for-6 from three-point range. Ellie Radke totaled a team-high seven rebounds.

UIC hosts SIU Edwardsville on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 3 p.m.
