    Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's basketball team hosts Central Michigan at the Flames Athletic Center on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 p.m. The Flames take their first road trip of the season on Sunday, Nov. 19 when they face off against Eastern Illinois at 2:00 p.m.

    The Flames and the Chippewas each enter the matchup 1-1 overall.

    This marks the fifth time these two teams have met. UIC fell to Central Michigan last season at home on November 22, 2005 by five points (67-62).

    UIC is coming off a close five-point loss to Big Ten foe Illinois on Nov. 14, while Central Michigan enters the contest with an 85-63 win over Division II Saginaw State on Nov. 13.

    In two games this season, senior Krystal Hugelier paces the Flames with 31 points, averaging 15.5 per game. Hugelier also leads the team, shooting 83.3 percent from the line (5-for-6) and 50 percent from three-point land (6-for-12).

    Central Michigan is guided by Ann Skufca with 27 points. The senior owns a team-high .750 three-point percentage and has hit 5-of-5 free throws in two games.
