    CHICAGO - Seniors Rachel Story and Katie Hannemann were named to the Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI) All-Tournament Team after their stellar performances during the Flames' postseason run to the WBI Championship. This announcement comes a few days after the championship game when sophomore Ruvanna Campbell was named the WBI MVP.

    Story averaged 21.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.7 steals over UIC's four WBI games. She shot 47.1 percent (32-of-68) from the floor, including 31 percent from beyond the arc (9-of-29).

    Story scored 19 points against IPFW in the first round, 27 in the quarterfinals at Eastern Michigan, 13 in the semifinals against Fairfield and a game-high 27 in the championship against Stephen F. Austin. Story finished the season with 609 points, the second most in a single season at UIC. She capped her UIC career with 1,077 points, which ranks 15th in program history.

    Hannemann averaged 17.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and shot 52.7 percent (29-of-55) from the floor during the tournament. She scored 17 points against IPFW, 19 at Eastern Michigan, 21 against Fairfield and 14 in the championship game. Hannemann's 1,108 career points are 14th in program history and her 605 career rebounds rank ninth at UIC.

    UIC defeated Stephen F. Austin, 73-64, in the WBI Championship Game on March 29. The Flames won a program-record 26 games and own the nation's largest turnaround. UIC collected 17 more wins (26-9) than the entire 2012-13 campaign (9-21), which is the largest win differential amongst 347 programs nationwide.
