Women's Basketball Tips Off The 2010 Speedway Horizon League Championship In Cleveland

CLEVELAND - The UIC women's basketball team will take on the Cleveland State Vikings on Thursday night in the Quarterfinal round of the 2010 Speedway Horizon League Women's Basketball Championship. The Flames and Vikings met last year in the Quarterfinals; Cleveland State, the three seed last season, knocked off the sixth-seeded UIC squad, 80-60 at the Wolstein Center. The game marks the third time this season that the two schools have faced off. The Vikings won the first two contests and have won five straight in the series. Thursday night's game will get underway at 6:00 p.m. CT at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland.
