UIC Women's Basketball Game Notes in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

Chicago, Ill. - Following an impressive double-overtime home victory against Milwaukee on Feb. 23, the UIC women's basketball team heads to Michigan to face Detroit on Thursday night.

The game is set to tipoff at 6 p.m. CST. Detroit leads the series, 17-15.

In UIC's (9-16, 5-9) 70-69 double-overtime win on Saturday night over Milwaukee, Jessie Miller totaled a team-high 16 points. Nikki Grobbecker pulled down her seventh double-figure rebound contest with 12 boards against the Panthers.

Detroit (4-21, 1-13) is looking to pick up its second Horizon League victory of the season. The last time the Titans defeated a league opponent was on Feb. 16 versus Cleveland State.

Sandi Brown leads the Titans with 10.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

The Flames face Wright State in their final regular season road game on Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. CST.
