UIC Women's Basketball Notes in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's basketball team is looking to upset Milwaukee for the second time this season on Saturday night at the Pavilion. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. CST.

Despite knocking off UWM earlier this season, the Panthers lead the series, 24-11.

UIC (8-16, 4-8) is looking to rebound from a 78-60 loss to Green Bay at home on Thursday night. Jessie Miller led the Flames with 15 points, including three treys. Briana Hinkle added 12 points with a team-high four assists.

Cassie Johnson pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.

Milwaukee (14-11, 9-5) is coming off an 83-78 victory over Loyola in Rogers Park on Feb. 21. Junior Traci Edwards scored a school-record 45 points in the win. Edwards also led the Panthers with eight boards.

The Flames wrap up the month on February on the road at Detroit. The game is set for Thursday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. CST.
