Feb. 5, 2010
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The UIC women's basketball team will conclude a three-game road swing on Saturday afternoon when they face the Youngstown State Penguins at the Beeghly Center at 1:05 p.m. CT. The Flames (9-12, 6-4 Horizon League) enter the game having dropped their last contest at the hands of the Cleveland State Vikings, 62-51. It was a one-point game at the half, but the Vikings went on a 17-5 run midway through the second half to put UIC in the rearview mirror. Freshman Taylor Foulks had a career-high 20 points and five steals to lead the Flames on Thursday night. Youngstown State (0-21, 0-10 Horizon League) comes into the game searching for its first win this season. The Penguins played their closest game of the season on Thursday night, a tough 63-59 loss to the Loyola Ramblers. Saturday's game will be broadcast live on The Horizon League Network (www.horizonleaguenetwork.tv). For more information on the game, please click the Game Notes PDF above.
