Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's basketball team remains at home to face Detroit on Saturday afternoon at the Pavilion. The game is set to tipoff at 4:30 p.m. CST

Despite UIC picking up both victories last season, Detroit leads the series, 17-14.

The Flames (7-12, 3-5) head into the matchup with six home wins under their belt. UIC is coming off a 63-60 victory over Wright State at the Pavilion on Jan. 31.

Sophomore Jessie Miller continued to dominate offensively for the Flames with 19 points against the Raiders. Miller was 7-for-14 from the field and hit a game-high four three-pointers.

Detroit (3-16, 0-8) is looking to pick up its first Horizon League victory of the season. The Titans fell at home to Loyola, 79-70, on Thursday night. Sophomore Chanica Hall picked up a game-high 18 points versus the Ramblers.

The Flames play the next three contests on the road. UIC squares off against Butler on Feb. 7, followed by Valparaiso (Feb. 9.) and Loyola (Feb. 16).
