CHICAGO - The UIC women's basketball team will head north to Loyola's Rogers Park campus on Saturday to take on the Ramblers at the Gentile Center at 2:00 p.m.

The Flames are coming off their biggest win of the season last Saturday, an 81-72 upset of the Green Bay Phoenix. The win was the first over a nationally-ranked opponent in program history and only the sixth win ever against Green Bay in 57 games.

The Ramblers handed the Phoenix their first loss of the season on Thursday, snapping a 35-game losing streak against Green Bay. Loyola and UIC teamed up to hand head coach Matt Bollant's squad its first back-to-back losses in conference play since Feb. 1997.

UIC head coach Lisa Ryckbosch knows that both teams are confident and will be fired up and ready to play when the ball is thrown in the air on Saturday afternoon.

"It's our biggest rival in the league," said Ryckbosch. "What's kind of fun about this game is that it really means something; it means more than just being our cross-town rival. It's exciting that there's a race here for our league and every game has a chance to impact that. The impact of our ability to stay in the race and their ability to stay in the mix makes it a big-time challenge."

Ryckbosch is 12-5 all-time against Loyola and her teams have won eight of the last 10 match-ups in this heated series.

If you can't make it to the Gentile Center, you can catch the game live at 2:00 p.m. at www.horizonleaguenetwork.tv/uic.
