UIC Women's Basketball Notes in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's basketball team heads to Wisconsin to face Milwaukee in a Horizon League matchup on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. CST. The Flames enter the contest 5-11 overall and 1-4 in league play after topping Loyola at home on Jan. 19.

Milwaukee leads the series, 24-10.

UIC is coming off a 76-69 victory over the Ramblers on Saturday evening at the Pavilion. The Flames were paced offensively by sophomore Briana Hinkle with a career-high 21 points. Hinkle was 7-for-13 from the field and shot 78 percent from the line (7-for-9).

The Panthers (10-7, 5-1) are looking to continue their five-game winning streak against the Flames. Milwaukee is 5-1 in conference action after falling to Wright State in its first league contest of the season.

Junior Traci Edwards leads UWM with 19.4 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.

UIC heads back to Wisconsin this weekend when they battle Green Bay on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 7:00 p.m.
