Chicago, Ill.- Four Flames scored in double-figures as the UIC women's basketball team scored an 86-66 exhibition win over Saint Xavier at the UIC Pavilion on Tuesday night.

Shameia Green scored a game-high 13 points, while Cassie Johnson and Kiara Strickland each pitched in 12 points and six rebounds.

UIC outrebounded the Cougars by a whopping 57-26 margin, with five players pulling down at least five boards.

The Flames pulled away in the second half, shooting 55.6 percent (15-for-27) from the floor in the final stanza. A 7-0 UIC spurt midway through the last half extended the hosts' lead into double digits for good.

UIC opens the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 22 against Bradley at the UIC Pavilion at 2 p.m.
