    Chicago, Ill. - Butler forward Angel Mason posted a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds to lift the visiting Bulldogs to the 67-50 Horizon League victory over the University of Illinois at Chicago at the UIC Pavilion on Saturday evening.

    Butler guard Jackie Closser came off of the bench and posted 16 points, including four three-pointers, while teammate Jessica Monaco chipped in 12.

    With the victory, Butler improves to 11-14 overall and 7-7 in Horizon League play, while the Flames fall to 12-14 on the campaign and 6-9 in conference play.

    Butler capitalized on 26 UIC turnovers, scoring 28 points off of the Flames' miscues. The Flames also shot 27.7% (18-for-65) from the field.

    UIC sophomore guard Chrissy Dizon tallied a game-high 18 points followed by freshman LaShonda Grant (11 points).

    The Flames will be back in action next Saturday, as they will travel to Wisconsin to square off with UW-Green Bay at 3:00 p.m.
