Jacob Morgan enters his first season as an assistant coach for the UIC women's basketball team. Morgan spent the last two years serving as the team's Director of Basketball Operations. With more than seven years experience working in coaching and administration, Morgan brings extensive knowledge to the Flames' women's basketball program. Prior to joining the UIC staff, Morgan was the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at North Central College in Naperville, Ill., along with serving as the Student Athlete Leadership Program Director. In 2005, Morgan served as the Principal Requisition Coordinator for the Chicago Public Schools. During his tenure at Northern Illinois, Morgan was the women's basketball manager from 1999-2002. Previous to his college coaching experience, Morgan served as the 2003-04 Assistant Girls' Varsity Basketball Coach for Chicago's George Washington High School. Morgan is a 2002 graduate of Northern Illinois. He received in Masters in Education (MED) in instructional leadership from UIC in 2008. |
