    NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The men's and women's track & field teams completed competition at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central University Saturday evening. 

    The women's squad was lead by Rebecca Zaiter, who had a notable performance in the 800-meter run.  Zaiter finished ninth of 61 runners with a time of 2:15.26.

    Teammate Sharon Mwale competed in the women's high jump recording a mark of 1.59 meters.

    On the men's side, sophomore Martin Hunter ran the 200-meter dash, finishing in just 22.24 seconds. 

    Teammate Photis Karkalis ran in the 1,500-meter run, finishing with a respectable time of 3:59.78.

    Junior Gunnar Sterne and sophomore Cody Lee competed in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase finishing with times of 9:58.06 and 10:53.15, respectively. 

    The UIC track and field teams will return to action Friday, May 16, as the Flames travel to Naperville, Ill., to compete in the Dr. Gregory Invitational.
