    Naperville, Ill. - University of Illinois at Chicago junior sprinter Gabe Rivera established two personal-records and top-five finishes at the North Central College Invitational, with a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash (10.86) and a fifth-place mark in the 200-meter dash (22.11).

    Senior jumper Bob Thurnhoffer also picked up a personal-record in the triple jump with a sixth-place leap of 46'6 ?".

    Junior throwing specialist Nick Gazis rounded out the top-10 finishes for UIC with a seventh-place mark of 159'0" in the discus throw.

    Gazis will be back in action this weekend, as he will travel to Baton Rouge, La., to participate in the NCAA Regional Championship at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
