Kirby, Schuh, Zaluckyj Post Strong Performances at Last Chance Meets|

CHICAGO - Ariel Kirby and Matt Zaluckyj both finished third in the 800-meter at the Second to Last Chance Meet in Allendale, Mich., while Kellie Schuhposted a season-best mark in the pole vault at the Last Chance Meet in Naperville Friday.
At the Second to Last Chance Meet, hosted by Grand Valley State, Kirby crossed the finishing line in 2:10.56, ahead of two competitors from Notre Dame. Zaluckyj finished the race in 1:51.43, behind only Notre Dame's Mitch Lorenz and Randall Babb. The women's field featured 20 competitors, while the men's race had 29 entries.
Schuh leaped 4.01 meters at the Last Chance Meet hosted by North Central - it marked her season-best mark in the event this season.
The Flames will now await their individual fate for postseason NCAA West Regional competition, to be completed in Austin, Texas, May 26-28.
