Indianapolis, Ind. - University of Illinois at Chicago junior throwing specialist Nick Gazis continues to shine for the Flames, as the Skokie, Ill., product took home the discus title with a toss of 164'5" at the Butler Twilight Meet on Saturday afternoon.

Senior jumper Bob Thurnhoffer placed second overall in the triple jump with a leap of 44'11 ½".

The Flames will be back in action on Thursday, as they will travel back to Indianapolis, Ind., to participate in the 2004 Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships at 4:00 p.m.
