Lawrence, Kan. - University of Illinois at Chicago sophomore Whitney Burns placed 10th overall with a time of 1:55.62 in the 800-meter run at the Kansas Relays, hosted by Kansas University on Saturday afternoon.

Senior Rich Daubert turned in a 13th place finish in the 1,500-meter run with a mark of 4:09.77.

UIC will be back in action this weekend, as they will travel to West Lafayette, Ind., to participate in the Boilermaker Invitational, hosted by Purdue. Action will begin on Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., and will conclude on Saturday at noon.
